Purchasing Agent
Midwest Gun Works, an industry leader in gun parts, shooting accessories and gunsmithing since 1997, is currently seeking a purchasing agent to join our growing team. Do you have a passion for firearms and for discovering the next hot item? Do you thrive when handing multiple projects at once? We are seeking a purchasing agent to manage inventory of existing items, source new parts and accessories, and develop new relationships with industry partners. Responsibilities

Midwest Gun Works, an Industry leader in Gunsmithing, Firearm Parts and Accessories is seeking an entry level shop utility worker. Our light manufacturing division is seeking a full time individual to perform several duties supporting the machining and manufacturing process. The ideal candidate is dependable, hard-working, and can manage their time effectively.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of supporting the manufacturing process including, but not limited to, CNC operations, preparing material for machining, cutting and deburring stock, preparing machined parts for finishing, and packaging finished goods.
- Perform tasks to maintain machines such as maintaining coolant / lubricant levels in CNC machine, cleaning up chips/turnings/shavings, and performing other tasks as needed

We are seeking a SEO and Social Media Director to develop and deliver key copyright and video content, social media and marketing assets. Social media and SEO experience, strong attention to detail, time management, organizational and communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of social media marketing including, but not limited to daily content creation, timely and effective engagement with posts, editorial calendar production, promotions and giveaways.
- Create meaningful marketing copy catered to the customer's needs.
- Responsible for digital assets including building and growing a key audience across a wide spectrum of social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and more.
- Develop strategy to maximize impact from blog, social and website content.
- Stay up to date on social media and SEO best practices to successfully position MGW as best in class.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience
- Understanding of social media and SEO required as it pertains to the firearm and shooting industry.
- Knowledge of the firearms and outdoor industry preferred.
- Possess strong attention to detail and robust communication skills.

- Ability to create and implement plans, processes and procedures.
