Detachable Box Magazines

The Winchester Model 70 DBM was manufactured with 2 different style bolts. The first year of production the DBM rifles were made with a Push Feed Bolt, with a small plunger type extractor. After that Winchester started manufacturing the DBM rifles using the Control Round Feed Bolt with the "Claw" extractor (also referred to as Pre' 64 style). With the change in bolts, the magazine was redesigned with raised feed lips on the right and left side of the follower.
