I bought this to help with ejection as my 3.5" SX2 wouldn't cycle consistently with target 2-3/4" shells. I placed this stud in the hole for the 3" models, and it's been working fine since. If you do this, you must mark your barrel to be sure no one tries to fire 3.5" shells in it. Also, it took a little doing to get it started in the hole. I resorted to using a steel roll pin punch to help.
