Description: Browning A-5 Shotgun, Butt Stock w/Limbsaver Recoil Pad, 12 Gauge, Composite-Stalker. Made from a non-glare, high strength black polymer and featuring simulated chechering this factory OEM stock will fit the Auto-5 Light 12, Standard 12 or Magnum 12 variant. This stock also comes with a Limbsaver recoil pad pre installed providing up to 70% recoil reduction.

Note: As with all Browning Auto 5 stocks both Synthetic or wood. The tang screw hole will come slightly undersized. This is to allow the hole to be elongated slightly to ensure a tight snug fit against the back of the receiver once the Tang screw is tightened. This is commonly done with a small rat tail type file. The tang screw part # B1111435 is the screw that holds the stock on the receiver acting as a stock bolt.

I purchased this stock knowing that ordering as well shipping would be simple and fast. As previous reviewers have noted the stock needed quite a bit of filing and sanding to fit properly. I may have worked on it, off and on, for about 2 hours. In the end I too had to use a rubber mallet to finally get it to fit in place. The fit being tight which I prefer. The quality of the stock is very good. MGW is a top shelf outfit. Thank You!

Purchased this stock and as usual Shipping was very fast. Never a problem with MGW. The stock needed quite a bit of filing and sanding. Even then had to use a rubber mallet to finally fit into place. The quality of the stock was very good. Only reason this did not get 5 stars. The amount of filing needed. Thanks again MGW
