This is as close to the original part on the fitment side, along with the original screw threads (at least for me ) as repro-parts go. Aside from fit and finish. Which, go above and beyond the originals. I have no complaints and always keep several on hand for repairs/replacements for myself & others.

The items fasten point needs another 1/8 in for a post war model94 30 30 other then that it seemed to be a great iitem

It took three tries to get the loading gate because it was sent to the wrong state. The personnel however fixed everything once I talked to the right person. then once I got the loading gate I tightened too much and broke the screw. That's on me.

My guess by the part description is this fits several caliber models and their variances. The fitting for a 30-30 is clearly identified and didn’t take more than 5 minutes. I spent more time jigging it to mill it than actual work. Once fitted it installed and functioned flawlessly. Just make sure it is fitted appropriately for your rifle before installation or you will be removing it.

I thought it was for a pre 64 but found it to be for a post 64 and also not for a 30-30. Other than that the item was good and useable on other guns as needed.
