General Pistol Repair / Clean & Inspect
MGW offers general pistol repair and both oem and aftermarket parts replacement and fitting. Broken Part? Lost spring? MGW stocks thousands of brand name parts both oem and aftermarket performance upgrade parts. General Repair is billed at Hourly rate plus part costs. $125.00 per hour.

Pistol Trigger Work (Semi-Auto)
A customized trigger system allows for less creep, a more defined trigger squeeze and a lighter trigger pull. All of which will increase accuracy and ease of use. This is a must have for serious shooters, or for newer shooters looking to up their game.
MGW offers Pistol Barrel fitting services for a variety of handguns. This service is most often needed to ensure proper fit and alignment as well as headspace. With many of today's shooters purchasing threaded barrels for suppressed shooting proper barrel fitting is very important. MGW also carries both OEM and replacement upgrade barrels for many of today's top brands.
A Polished feed ramp aids in feeding of different types of ammunition in particular hollow point and other self-defense rounds. Taking out small imperfections from machining and polishing to a smooth bright finish not only looks great but helps ensure rounds cycle and feed correctly.
MGW can add Jeweling to the monoblock portion of the pistol barrel giving both modern and vintage pistols the great classic look only Jeweling can.
Pistol Barrel Jeweling is one of the best ways to give your 1911, Browning Hi-power, Beretta 92 or any other vintage or modern firearm that classic look. Jeweling not only looks great but can aid in keeping lubricant on the surface of the metal.
Offering an 11 Degree cut, our crowning can greatly improve accuracy by ensuring that the muzzle is free from any imperfections and allowing exciting gas pressure to be delivered uniformly and evenly across the muzzle face.
Pistol Undercut Trigger Guard (Polymer Frames Only)
The addition of an extra undercut to the trigger guard creates an extra point of index to help ensure consistent hand position. The second undercut and also allows for your off-hand to fit more securely on the firearm by giving you just enough space to raise it slightly as the standard trigger guard forces your off-hand lower and into a less comfortable position.
Pistol Frame Stippling (Polymer Frames Only)
Stippling is added to polymer frames to assist in maintaining a positive and secure grip, even in the most extreme and adverse conditions. Midwest Gun Works offers 3 different types of stippling through our shop; Tree Bark, Shark Skin and Starburst patterns.
Using proper techniques and tools are key in correct pistol sight installation. Whether you are installing night sights, suppressor height sights or just replacing OEM sights for a different outline or sight picture. MGW stocks hundreds of pistol sights and can help with most types of aftermarket and OEM sight installation.
Pistol Bluing (Semi-Auto), Matte Blue
Firearm bluing has been called many things over the years: Hot Blue, Black Oxide, Caustic Blue, Salt Blue and more. Regardless of the term you use Midwest Gun Works is the nation's premiere location to perform this service.
Adding Case Color to the right pistol certainly gives it a one of a kind custom look. While not a cheap endeavor and usually reserved for fine double guns, Case Color can be done to some steel framed and steel slide pistols to give it a truly stunning look. (Select Models)
While usually reserved for many of Browning's pistol models like the Hi-Power and others. MGW can gold plate any steel pistol trigger.
Cerakote is THE industry leader in ceramic based finishes. Cerakote is a ceramic based finish that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. The unique formulation used for Cerakote ceramic coating enhances a number of physical performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, and hardness.
