Marketing / Social Media Team Member

Midwest Gun Works, one of the fastest growing and most trusted firearms industry retailers, is looking to add a highly driven, experienced member to its Social Media and Marketing Team. In this position, you will work collaboratively with other members of the team, as well as independently, to develop and promote MGW's brand image and messaging through organic, owned, and paid media channels. If you are extremely passionate about firearms, creative, and detail-oriented, this is your ideal role.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and Developing traditional & digital marketing strategies across various channels.
  • Create and Manage a social media content calendar to ensure consistent branding across all channels.
  • Development and Execution of a minimum of 4-5 individual pieces of content per week to drive awareness and community building.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation of social media performance based upon key performance metrics. Utilize those evaluations to develop tactics to improve performance.
  • Analyze digital media, audience, consumer, and market trends for insights to be integrated into the content strategy.
  • Respond & Engage with community members, customers, other brands, and potential brand ambassadors in a positive manner across all platforms.
  • Continuous Refinement of marketing approach through data-driven insights and the incorporation of new software/tools as they become available.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • 1+ years (3+ years preferred) of advanced digital editing software capabilities: Adobe Suite (Ps, Lr, LrC, Pr, Ae,Ai), Capcut, Canva, etc.
  • 1+ years (3+ years preferred) of experience with digital photography and video production.
  • 1+ years of experience using social media management tools like Sprout, Hootsuite, Hubspot, Agorapulse, etc.
  • Paid social media advertising experience (Meta Ads).
  • Robust understanding of firearms, the firearms industry, and gun culture.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with social media platforms, best practices, and current trends.
  • Solid comprehension of social media platform(s) policies and restrictions concerning regulated goods.

We are seeking a purchasing agent to manage inventory of existing items, source new parts and accessories, and develop new relationships with industry partners. Responsibilities

Shop Utility / CNC

Midwest Gun Works, an Industry leader in Gunsmithing, Firearm Parts and Accessories is seeking an entry level shop utility worker. Our light manufacturing division is seeking a full time individual to perform several duties supporting the machining and manufacturing process. The ideal candidate is dependable, hard-working, and can manage their time effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of supporting the manufacturing process including, but not limited to, CNC operations, preparing material for machining, cutting and deburring stock, preparing machined parts for finishing, and packaging finished goods.
  • Perform tasks to maintain machines such as maintaining coolant / lubricant levels in CNC machine, cleaning up chips/turnings/shavings, and performing other tasks as needed
