This assembly includes the recoil guide rod for preventing the recoil spring from binding and includes the rod spring for proper function and recoil mitigation. This black recoil rod assembly is perfect for your SD9 VE or SD40 VE S&W pistol as a spare or if you need to replace a worn or missing component.

SD Captured Guide Rod Recoil Spring Assembly

Great product, this part works on all SD series pistols & all SIGMA Pistols that require a 3" Assembly. The only pre-M&P polymer framed SIGMA pistol this part will not fit is the rare F series SIGMA which requires a 3 1/4" Assembly.
