This spring makes the bolt smoother during cycling. Great upgrade

My 25 year old SBE was failing to eject the fired casing almost 95% of the time. Luckily I use it exclusively for turkey hunting so I rarely have the need for a second shot. I cleaned it, lubricated it ect..all to no avail. As sort of a last resort I ordered this new recoil spring. I placed the springs side by side when the new spring arrived and they looked identical, same color, same length, but now my gun shoots like its brand new!

If you ever have any issues with shells cycling thru your gun first clean it very well and replace this spring with the original OEM spring. My original spring lasted 24 years with a high volume of shooting thru it every year. No need to upgrade to a stronger aftermarket spring - use the original. They are less than $10.

Works as it should. Shot light trap loads and magnum loads with no cycling issues. So far has been used in 25 to 80 degree conditions.

Fit perfect into my SBE2 it’s just a little shorter than stock spring, but it works good no issues

Several months ago, I began having issues with my SBE II not fully ejecting a spent shell, which also caused it to not feed properly from the magazine. And this was with 1 1/8 oz (3 dram equiv) heavy target loads. I've had the gun for nearly 13 years and have never had cycling issues. But, I've never replaced the recoil spring either. I dropped one of these recoil springs in, and tested it with light target loads (1 1/8 oz, 2 3/4 dram equiv), and so far, it's back to cycling flawlessly. Will probably pick up another for a backup!

Replace my CZ spring with this one and the cycling issue went away.

The spring came shorter than the original spring. I called, they told me it would work. I bought two, for both guns I own. Replaced it in one and cleaned the other one really good. The new replacement, I am still having jamming problems with the gun , in really cold weather. I switch the springs and the problem went away. I think the springs work in normal weather but in cold, the short version , doesn't work.
