O-ring fits and functions perfectly and seems to be of high quality. I'm an engineer and you can generally "feel" when an orange is made of good material. It definitely appears to be genuine Beretta. Midwest Gun Works packaged the o-ring well to protect it from bending during shipping. Very happy with my purchase and will buy from Midwest again.
I believe Beretta recommends replacing this o-ring every 800 rounds or so. One note; the old one currently in your gun will probably be stained black making it hard to identify and won't just pop-out upon disassembling the gun. Look carefully on the inside diameter of the piston sleeve and identify it by the fact it's round and in a groove, not by color. I found a 90-degree mini-pick to be ideal for removing the old one. Mine are SnapOn brand but the cheap harbor freight probably works nearly as well. Anything that's thin and pointy with a 90-degree bend 1/4" to 3/4" from the end will work fine. Installing the new oring is super-easy.

This item is the exact replacement part. However I have had to replace it on my gun several times and I keep a spare. Thankful I can get it so I don’t miss a shot due to a malfunction!

Exact factory fit item. Use as spare, over time rubber just gets old gets brittle and a poor seal equals poor cycle.

I ordered (4) of these because sooner or later they are going to break and you will need a new one. My last O-ring lasted some where around 1000 rounds.
