This item is displayed on the website with the barrel band that is supposed to go with it. After ruining one screw and ordering more,(for $10 shipping), I figured out that the threads are not the same as the threads in the Marlin Barrel Band. Also, the screw will not sit flush in the barrel band, the head of the screw is sticking out entirely. After a great deal of "customizing", i was able to use it, but don't expect it to be plug and play.

This part does not fit the Ruger made Marlins. I would have returned it but in trying to fit the part my screw driver damaged the head when the gun moved in the vise. Contacted Ruger and they sent a replacement screw that fit perfectly.

•These band screws got to be made with some Chinese plastic. The weakest material you could find
• A dry spaghetti noodle will hold better
•should’ve listened to the comments,30-30’s blowing these little boys in half on the first shot that’s why I bought 2 so I could do it twice in case the comments were right all along
•This item is really a donation to the company, And then in return they send you a threaded toothpick
• Perfect item to buy if you don’t mind adding it to the drawer of random things that do nothing 😂😂😂
