This OEM guide rod is designed for the Marlin Camp 9, chambered in 9mm, and Camp 45, chambered in .45 ACP. Well, its a metal rod with a c-clip on the end. Pretty much all it has to do is not bend. Thus far, it seems to be doing that just fine. The recoil rod that came with the gun had a slight bow in it, I have no idea why, and as a result it would bind a little when retracting the bolt. Replacing it with this new recoil spring rod solved that issue. Picked up an extra because why not?
