Does not fit 1301 mod 2

Due to my astigmatism I prefer a 1x prism scope on suitable platforms. The 1301 mod 2 begs for it. I tried another optic mount for my prism, unfortunately my particular optic weighs over 9 ounces and would rattle the two #8-36 retaining screws loose with birdshot.
This pic rail seemed like a better option because it is held on with 4 screws. Unfortunately only 2 holes lined up with the holes in the top of my reciever. Using a drill press, a 1/4 inch countersink drill and a homemade template I was able to make use of the 5 existing threaded holes on top of my gun. Now the optic and mounting rail stay put. Added bonus due to the lenth of this mount I was able to scoot my optic far enough back to allow unimpeded access for 3 inch shells to go from a shot card velcroed to the left side of the reciever, over the top of the gun, into the loading port. Snag, reach, gulp, bang!

Perfect fit and was easy to install on my A400 Extreme Plus. Instructions with torque specs would have been helpful.

Really not much to say. Fit perfectly on the receiver. Hardest part of the installation was removing the rubber plugs.
