New RIVAL-S was finicky with standard or low pressure ammo, stepped down to Blue light spring and it worked well for 3500 rds. Next 4000 rds used the standard OEM facory spring. Now as the round count nears 10,000 or so, the Red Heavy spring is working well in the well used, well lubed RIVAL-S. I bought three because they change tension after 3000-4000 rds.
