Manufactured from steel OEM standard pieces, this type 2 recoil spring assembly is produced for the old style Kahr PM9 (Type 2) pistols chambered in 9mm. This set-up is perfect as a replacement assembly for worn or damaged pieces or for the next workshop tune-up. Keep your Kahr in top operating and reliable condition with this quality assembly. Please note, muzzle end of slide will be squared off rather than beveled, plunger head size is 1/2".

Recoil Spring Assembly, Type 2

This is a two part assembly with two springs included. The part I really needed was the innerspring assembly because the tip had come off and was making the gun not work properly. The outer larger spring was too long and would not work with my Kahn PM9. It would not allow the slide to lock back or lock back after the last round left the magazine. After I took it out and used the original spring, the gun functioned properly. The Kahr is an off duty backup weapon and I depend on its functionality. I don’t blame MGW because they gave good service and shipping but a if the larger spring would have fit, it would give me more confidence in the product.
