The flared head of this guide rod creates a more concentric and consistent lock up of the slide, spring & rod. The Lantac guide rod upgrades are for use with piano wire recoil springs and not flat wire springs (Wolff springs recommended). This product is proudly made in Fort Worth Texas, USA.
