Description: ALG Defense AK-47 / AK-74 High Energy Main Spring. This single wire main spring is made from chrome silicon steel to ASTM A401 specifications. The ALG High Energy spring is a direct performance replacement for AK-47 and AK-74 platform rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm and 5.45x39mm, and develops 25% more torque than standard factory main springs. This both increases primer ignition consistency and lowers lock time.
