Solid trigger

It is a good trigger. Just a tiny bit of creep after the wall & breaks right @ about 5lbs for me. Almost as crisp as my SSA’s, none of my Past SSA’s has any creep tho & all of my SSA broke closer to 4.5lbs Nowhere near as clean and crisp as SSA-E and SD-E. However with that said it is a good duty and defense trigger & plenty capable of accurate shots. My previous trigger on my MR556 had a better pull and cleaner 4.25lb break & contemplated switching back but what ultimately made me decide to leave the Geissele in was the extra mass @ the top of the hammer. Does it make a difference in long term reliability? I have no idea however I’m sure the firing pin block safety isn’t super easy on the hammer & that extra mass up top can’t hurt. If there is even a chance that the Geissele hammer won’t fail me at the most inopportuned time then that makes it worth sacrificing the trigger pull and break a bit... overall solid trigger with a good pull and break, I may be nit picking it because every a Geissele I’ve owned and own has been phenomenal But this one fell a tad short and for double the $$$ of their top tier AR triggers I expected @ least the same pull quality. minus 2 stars for falling a tad short there and the crazy double the price tag. BUT still a Good trigger however and the mass at the top of the hammer gives me more confidence that it can take the added abuse of the firing pin safety which doesn’t justify the double price tag but adds a star back. I give it 4 stars overall.
