Good Looking, Hand Filling

I bought these mainly for the thickness and radius. Kimber grips are a little thicker than standard grips and have a relatively flat radius compared to most 1911 grips. These two factors make them one of the most hand filling grips on the market. They are checkered wood, so they are not that aggressive. The rosewood that I received this time(my second pair of Kimber rosewood grips) was much darker than the picture on the website, but still looked good on the gun.

Several months ago, I purchased a full-size black Kimber 1911 LW Custom .45ACP pistol with black/gray grips. Since I own a number of other "black" pistols and was getting tired of the look, I decided to purchase the "Double Diamond Rosewood" grips as a replacement for the black/gray grips. Wow- what a difference! The new look is GREAT and I have received a number of compliments at the range by others who admire this combination. The new rosewood on black color combo is far superior to the original pairing of grips and pistol. I'd post a photo if I could, but there does not appear to be an option to do so.
