Description: Savage 110 Front Action Screw. Machined from quality steel, this front action screw is designed for the Savage 110 bolt-action rifle. The front action screw, when combined with the rear action screw, helps retain the receiver assembly to the stock assembly. This genuine component is perfect to keep on the workbench as a spare.
Note: It is recommended that all Savage parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

This screw isnt for the laminated factory stock.

This screw isnt for the laminated stock versions of the models 110 and 12. I recommend this product. Nothing wrong with the product. Company needs to make sure customers know that the laminated stock that comes with the varmint model 110,12 model rifles, front action screw is actually longer than the boyds stock screw.
