Description: Smith & Wesson M&P Rear Sight Set Screw. This sight screw is made of a strong steel, carries a matte blued finish, and is a factory original part from Smith & Wesson. The sight set screw is designed for the Full Sized, Compact and Shield versions of the M&P M2.0, 9, 40, 45 from Smith & Wesson chambered in 9mm, .40 S&W, & .45 ACP respectively. The rear sight screw secures the rear sights to the slide of the firearm. This screw is perfect for use in an emergency replacement stash and can be great to have in the spare parts chest. This item is proudly made in the USA by Smith & Wesson.

M&P Rear Sight Screw variation between M&P 1.0 & M&P M2.0

This Sight Set Screw varies from the M&P 1.0 in girth. Giving the Set Screw more substance then the M&P 1.0 Sight Set Screw. Although both Sight Set Screws work well in the M&P Pistols, there is no difference in the Sights themselves in overall measurements both M&P 1.0 & M2.0 are the same. But carefully look at the diameter of the Set Screw Hole in the Sight. If you are replacing an M&P 1.0 Rear Sight with an M&P M2.0 Sight (with the possibility of minor fitting which is normal) the Sight will fit. (But you will need to also have to M2.0 Set Screw to lock down the Sight due to the diameter difference in the Sight Set Screw Hole because your M&P 1.0 Set Screw will fall right threw the M2.0 Rear Sight Screw Hole)
