Description: Faxon Firearms .308 Winchester 18" Big Gunner Profile AR-10 Duty Series Barrel. Machined from 4150 CMV steel and finished with a black nitride finish, this 18" long barrel is designed to fit AR-10 platform rifles. Chambered in .308 Winchester and button rifled, this barrel features a rifle gas system, twist rate of 1:8, big gunner barrel profile, 5/8"x24 muzzle thread, LR-308 (DPMS compatible) barrel extension and an 11-degree target crown. This barrel is perfect for your latest build, or as an upgrade to your current AR.

The .308 Big Gunner profile barrels are the big-brother to Faxon's famous 5.56 Gunner barrels. The Big Gunners feature a medium-taper behind the gas block. The gas block journal is set to .750" for compatibility with most common gas blocks and 1.9" in length for long blocks or aftermarket piston kits. From the gas block journal forward we use a thinner taper, designed to reduce weight yet maintain rigidity for high rates of fire and as a suppressor host.

The Gunner barrels are ideal for any competition or duty use. When the seconds count, count on the Gunner profile.
