Excellent part for your 1911? I bought this item to replace my faded paint slide from original (Auto-Ordnance). Fits perfectly and looks even better!

I put this Kimber slide stop in a Colt 1911 classic. The original slide stop wouldn’t hold the slide back after last round. Also was impossible to insert without tapping with a hammer. This Kimber product solved both problems with no fitting at all.

Was having trouble with my colt 1911 classic not holding the slide back on the last round, even with my best mags. Also the OEM slide stop was impossible to reinstall after disassembling without tapping it back in with a hammer. This Kimber slide stop solved both problems. It dropped right in (no fitting at all) and the finish perfectly matched my gun. And the price is outstanding for a quality part.
