It's a hammer strut.

Not much to say - it's a hammer strut, phosphate. Same one that comes currently in the M11-A1 model (even recent manufactured ones still use this and not the E2 style). Used it to replace an E2 style one in a used purchase where the original was swapped out.
The lower price of the phosphate part was what drove my purchase (and they were available before the other one that is the blue or superblue coating).
would definitely buy this again.
