OEM replacement for my P238 extractor. I had been having issues with failures to extract/eject cartridges. Disassembled the 238, cleaned the extractor channel, replaced the original. Zero failures in two hundred rounds at the range with a variety of loads from assorted manufacturers.

I was experiencing intermittent failures to extract. With a magazine loaded with snap caps I was able to rack the slide very slowly and watch what was going on. The snap cap was dropping out of the extractor prematurely. The extractor wasn't retaining the casing for long enough/far enough for the ejector to kick it out. I disassembled the slide, cleaned the extractor hole (which was very fouled) and replaced the extractor with this new one from MGW. 250 rounds through my P238 since then without a failure. Very satisfied.
