It DOES fit German made P228!!

Read so many stories about how p228 locking inserts are no longer made, impossible to get, etc... I was disheartened to see 357/40 stamped on the bottom when I got it. On a whim I tried to install and it works perfect in a p228!!! The parts are identical in overall geometry minus the cuts near the trigger pin. Gun locks up like a bank vault again and does not have any wiggle in the frame like the old one. Nice!
