This is the only available replacement for a one piece, tubeless forend after mine broke. I would have converted to a tube design but they are labeled "unavailable." The product works perfectly fine it just doesn't match the rest of my 500 and looks out of place. This is more of a critique of Mossberg, as Midwest provides excellent service!

5 stars for arriving as advertised, however I have not been able to use it so far. After receiving my order I noticed that the Mossberg that I was going to put it on is an older model AB with a welded spring.

Fit's good no altering, a little bit shorter than original forend so if you have short arms it will take some time to get use too but nothing Major, overall it does it's job.. I hunt so my shotgun gets used it doesn't just sit in the safe..

This is newer forearm coming on all the new Mossberg 500s is so much better than the older forearm. Looks great and actually fits the gun better. Being more rounded and a little slimmer than the more squared one that came on the gun it reminds me of my old Winchester Stainless Marine forearm. It took about 3 minutes to install, and doesn't have that dumb internal spring the old one had. And if just looks right, if you know what I mean, it fits the 500 better and looks awesome. Cannot believe the price! If it was for my Benelli M4 it would have been a hundred dollars more. Packaged very well, and fast delivery. Ordered it Thursday and got it Saturday by Priority Mail. Could not be more impressed. They have my business from now on.
