Description: Steyr AUG Gas Regulator for Suppressed Firing. This gas regulator is a factory-original Steyr component for the Steyr AUG model rifle utilizing suppressed fire. This gas regulator allows the user to shoot suppressed with lower back pressure and recoil impulse when turned to the suppressed setting. Shooting in the suppressed setting allows for a more enjoyable shooting experience and decreased wear on the internal mechanisms of the firearm.

Please note, that the standard setting on the suppressed regulator is the same as the standard setting on the original regulator. The suppressed setting occupies the position of the original grenade setting, and the grenade setting occupies the original adverse setting.

Note: It is recommended that all Steyr Arms parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

I've been running a Dead Air Lazarus 6 on my AUG and although I didn't run into many issues using the standard plug, I noticed that gun was running pretty hard with that setting. This plug gives a more pleasant shooting experience and doesn't seem to beat the gun up nearly as much.
