I only have 5,072 rounds through my P320, ALL reloads (mind you), without even a hint of failure. As I use my P320 in competition I thought it would be prudent to have an extra extractor, just in case. This is a factory part, so I'm sure it will perform like the factory intended.

P320 blows out extractors with reloads

This is the second time I have had to replace the extractor. The P320 original barrel does not give enough support at the base of the 9mm cartridge to support the pressure when it has been reloaded. I never had a blow out with a factory cartridge, but twice with reloads. I have fixed it by replacing the original barrel with a match replacement aftermarket barrel. I also now tend not to shoot reloads in it, although I have and have had no blowouts with the aftermarket barrel. I am writing this review because someone else might be having the same problem. The case blows out at the bottom, and blows out the extractor with it. Pretty scary stuff. Many others on line have had this problem.
