Description: Faxon Firearms 5.56 NATO 16" Pencil Profile AR-15 Barrel. Machined from 4150 Mil-spec steel and boasting a black nitride finish, this barrel measures 16" long and is designed to fit the AR-15 rifle platform. Chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO / .223 Rem and button rifled, this barrel features a mid length gas system, twist rate of 1:8, a pencil profile design, 1/2" x 28 TPI muzzle threading, M4 barrel extension and an 11-degree target crown. This barrel is perfect for your next AR build or as an upgrade to your current firearm.
