Descripton: Mossberg 930 / 935 Pro-Series Gas Piston Assembly, Boron Nitride. This complete piston assembly fits 12 gauge Mossberg Model 930 and 935 Pro-Series shotguns and is a direct factory replacement. Constructed with from steel with a silver boron nitride finish, the assembly transfers gas to the action to cycle the firearm.

I was having problems with my brand-new Mossberg 930 failure to feed due to the shell hanging on the lifter/elevator, which looked to be out of alignment. Mossberg has since fixed the issue, (so far), but I bought this piston assembly as an upgrade. I need to put a lot more rounds through the shotgun before I can really evaluate it, but so far, so good.

I never had a problem with the stock piston, but I was putting together a premium 930 build and wanted the claimed increased reliability. It is does seem to clean up easier and it rips.

After re-repairing my customers jury rigged repair job and installing a boron nitride gas piston and cleaning the gas ports along with other smithing the shogun is back in action. MGW were the only folks that had the necessary part for this repair and the part functioned perfectly.

I’m a big believer that you get what you pay for. Nickel on any gun part for any gun owner is a great thing. Gas pistons are a vital part of a semiautomatic 12 gauge and in my opinion necessary.

If you have a Non-JM Pro mossberg 930 and already did the marine spacer tube you need this! Very slick, run it dry and increase the intervals between cleanings. Small price for a reliability upgrade.
