The Sig slide stops are my favorite. They don't protrude so far that they get into the way, but easy to catch with your thumb.

that little lip makes a big difference

having two 1911 pistols I always found one was harder to release the slide than the other one....I finally inspected the guns and found that the one that released the slide easier had the slide stop that had the extended lip while the other one did not. So for only $18.00 I bought this one to match my other gun and presto! The slide released easy peasy! Amazing that the little lip on the slide stop makes that big of a difference versus the one that doesn't have it! Well worth the price for this little gem!
