Description: Remington Shotgun Saddle Mount (12 & 20ga.) with Picatinny Rail for 870, 1100 and 11-87. Manufactured from high grade aircraft aluminum and featuring a matte black finish, this saddle style Remington shotgun scope mount allows for easy mounting of optics or sighting devices. Included with this mount is 2 mounting screws, allen wrench, 2 shims for 20 ga. mounting and will fit models 870, 1100 and 11-87 in both 12 gauge and 20 gauge.

Fit like a glove on a 30+ year old 870

I think this is made of aluminum. The finish was matte black and looked like a spray coating of some kind. The saddle fit on my old Remington 870 without a problem. Holes lined up and pins went in without an issue. The black isn't as black as the finish on my shotgun but it's ok.
