Heckler And Koch HK416 Folding Front Sight Assembly

I’m new to HK AR style platforms although have built most all popular and some not in both AR platforms and can see the clear difference in quality/fitment of every single part including this great front sight. I needed zero tools and about three minutes and that’s with me figuring out install since everything HK416 is pretty much impossible to find regarding builds. Once I looked at gas block pin that comes with this sight I noticed it has a wider and thinner side so the sight/pin can’t be installed in reverse I realized how it went together using a very smart and simple C/D clip that was simply slid over the pins end that has a slit milled into it like a dust cover rod has for C clip and that’s the complete install. Took me way longer to type this! MGW is the very rare company that ships in true labeled HK sealed bags and not a zip lock with a cheap sticker label that some shady company sells as OEM HK packaging when it’s really just a home made label with HK printed in it… MGW I got three real deal sealed bags with colored and sealed HK bags that clearly are only made by HK. FYI… 9-91/2” hand guard and barrel that’s 10.4” or longer and this sight will fit perfect taking up zero rail space and staying out of the way and locking folded or up solidly with zero slop. I’m so glad I didn’t buy the front HK flip up rail mounted sight since this is pure genius for actual shooters and not range fun toys where real world use isn’t really used or needed to mag dump on a piece of paper.
