Description: Smith & Wesson K/L/N/X-Frame Thumbpiece, Stainless. Constructed from quality stainless steel, this OEM factory original thumbpiece is manufactured for the Smith & Wesson revolver line including the K, L, X, and N frame models chambered in various calibers such as .41 Rem Mag, .44 Special, .45 Colt, .357 Mag and more. This piece provides a point of contact for releasing the cylinder. This part is perfect as a spare, immediate replacement, or for the next workshop project.

bought this thumbpiece for an old -2 29 wanted the blue but had to get stainles was able to color match pefectly. the design of the replacement was more egonomic have purchased other items from MGW my go to place for all my S&W's great customer service, will stand by what they sell

Smith & Wesson has begun putting contrasting black parts of some of their revolvers. I prefer the "old school" look of "all stainless". This part helped me achieve that look.

I had lost this piece years ago when I evacuated for a hurricane and it was missing for years. I knew my frame model etc. from trying to replace the piece in the past so it was not a problem finding the correct piece. It fits perfectly and now you cannot tell it was ever replaced. Great price, and very fast shipping, too. I am very happy to have my handgun complete again.
