I bought these for a Performance Center Model 642 that I carry every day. I'm not usually a fan of laminated woods because a lot of them look like cheap plywood to me, but the set of grips I received look fantastic. They also fit perfectly and are what I believe to be the most concealable option. For around $40, they are also an excellent value. Thank you, MGW.

I put these grips on my 637 Airweight, and it made the gun look like a million bucks. Looks like a classic S&W now.

I have been learning/practicing... This grip is a lot better in my opinion. It lets you "wrap your hands" around it the best way you can as opposed to the other one, which dictates where you need to hold (finger grooves). Besides it looks way better.

Bought these to replace the factory rubber grips on a used 638 I purchased. The rubber grips would snag and hang up a draw using a pocket holster. The wood grips so not snag or hand up and make for a super smooth quick draw. They look much better too. You need these if keeping your j.frame in a pocket holster.
