Description: Heckler And Koch P30 V3 DA/SA Left Slide Release. Made from steel with a black finish, this OEM part from HK is manufactured in Germany and designed for the V3 DA/SA H&K P30, P30L and P30SK pistol models chambered in either 9mm or .40 S&W. The lever is installed through the left side of the firearm and locks the slide open after the last round fires or when manually activated by the shooter. Nice upgrade to an already close to perfect firearm. Makes operation of slide more in range without changin your grip on firearm.

or for shooters that have a very high grip where they inadvertently cause the slide to lock open in the middle of shooting (or not stay open at the magazine last round. Looks great even in the full size P30 where there is a small indentation for the longer slide lock lever.

While having a longer slide lock lever might be fine for short finger/smaller hands, i got very long fingers and large hands (xl gloves barely fit) so the standard lever kept getting bumped and i would inadvertently lock it open while firong or not allowing it to stay open on last round. This shorter lever is perfect to solve that issue. Now i have to order the right side so they match.

I prefer the V3 non-safety variant of the P30(L) and as a modern isosceles thumbs forward, right handed shooter - it's a small detail that makes a major improvement for myself in being able to get my support hand palm along the frame of the gun and not on slide lever...all P30 models should be like this. Don't care about the cosmetic aspect of the frame is cut for the long slide lever, it is a worthy improvement for $25 bucks after 6 years.

Great short slide release if your thumb keeps hitting the standard version. Because of the shorter length, it does take slightly more pressure to release the slide.
