I assume due to usage of my Glock 19, the original slide lock spring stopped functioning and would fall out when disassembling the weapon, this allowed the slide lock (the pull down lever to remove the slide) to fall out. The new spring fit in snug but not overly tight, it functions as new. This has been my service weapon for many years and I am again happy.
