This is a factory original Glock spring designed for Gen3 pistol models that utilize the Subcompact frame size. The newer full-width spring is the modern upgrade for these models compared to the older, thinner, spring. The slide lock spring sits below the slide lock within the frame to provide upward pressure to the lock for proper functionality. This part is made to the same high standards in material and workmanship as the parts that originally came in your Glock firearm, and is perfect as a replacement to worn/damaged components, or to have as a spare to keep your Glock in top operating condition.
