Heckler & Koch MR556 / MR762 Pistol Grip, Complete

First off MGW is a good place to deal with. Now to the review on this pistol grip. I love the idea of being able to have a fully water proof pistol grip for the HK inserts with tools and/or oil or other things you may want to put in the grip(must use waterproof sealant of some sort around mounting screw or it’ll never be water tight). The bottom is held in very tightly and is a simple yet I’d bet solid design to stay water tight. But the things I don’t like about it is the ENTIRE grips angle, size mostly as it’s extremely fat and mostly at the bottom part of your hand where your fingers are getting smaller towards the pinky end of the hand making for no joke the very worst feeling grip I’ve ever felt on any gun ever. If you have giant gorilla hands this may work for you, but even then you can find a more comfortable grip for way less as a cheap $1.99 A2 standard AR grip is a million times better for simply a way better shaped grip that isn’t so fat it can be comfortably gripped. The best grip on the planet in all my twenty and counting years is Daniel Defense’s pistol grip that isn’t water proof, but does have the PERFECT angle as it’s great for CQC and long range, has the top of the grip with zero rubbery surface so you can slightly and easily move your hand slightly to manipulate the safety, bolt catch, etc. while the rubber on the around 2/3 of the middle to bottom is perfect for an excellent grip that’s perfect for any size hand and will make it so it won’t slip but doesn’t collect dirt, hair, etc like lots of others with rubber on the grip. Of course this is just MY OPINION on this grip, but I do have around 15 AR’s and I built every single one from ground up so hand tried most all descent to good grips and for myself and family we all love DD pistol grip without the trigger guard attached and even the one with trigger guard built in for the lowers that don’t come with a trigger guard it’s a good option but cleanest and best is the standard non trigger guard version of DD’s grip as I have been slowly replacing all our grips with DD’s. If this HK version wasn’t extremely fat at the middle to bottom it’d be a pretty good grip. I hope this helps someone as had I known this info I could of saved around $60 on a grip that’ll now just sit in a box!

I have a plain jane AR-15 and this is the only non-M4 furniture I have on my rifle, simply because I have always liked this grip ever since I first saw it on an HK 556. I appreciate MGW because if they don't have an item in stock they will let you join an email notification list for the item, and then I think they will order it once they find there is a demand. That has happened to me with two items I recently ordered from MGW. Thanks to MGW for getting this item for me.

Had 1 on my daughter's ar and it is probably the most comfortable grip I've used. So I bought 2. MGW was the only 1 that had any. Got them quickly. Will use again in future.
