The striker return spring is designed for Full Sized, Compact, & Shield versions the M&P M2.0, 9, 40, & 45 models of pistols from Smith & Wesson chambered in 9mm, .40 S&W, & .45 ACP respectively. The striker return spring applies dampening pressure to the striker to return the striker to it's default state after the pistol fires a round.
