Description: Smith & Wesson M&P 45 M2.0 Threaded Barrel, 5.125". Crafted from durable steel, this threaded barrel is manufactured for the Smith & Wesson M&P 45 M2.0 full sized pistols chambered in .45 ACP. This barrel features a length of 5.125", a TPI of .578" x 28 and a black coated finish. The barrel can replace the 4.6" non-threaded barrel of the 45 M2.0 full size pistol. This barrel is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged component.

Wanted a threaded barrel for a compensator. Swaps directly onto my smith & wesson m&p 2.0. 45 full size. Barrel length from smith & wesson says 5" but it fits the gun no problems.

I have been trying to find one of these for several years. Unfortunately Smith & Wesson does not sell directly to the public. So I subscribed for when the item came back in stock. Purchasing the barrel was a great experience with Midwest.
Unfortunately Smith and Wesson package a barrel that was one inch to long at 5.6” instead of 4.6”. The packaging information was correct, just the wrong product.
This not a mistake by Midwest who quickly gave me my credit return quickly.
Works great on the full length M&P 45 2.0.

I bought the FDE M&P 45 2.0,which didn't come with the threaded barrel.So I found this searching on the web.I was worried it wouldn't be long enough due to it's description.It says 4.6 inches which is the same length as the factory non threaded barrel.But not to worry it sticks out about 1/2 an inch from the slide.It appears to be the same length as the factory threaded option that you can get.It fit in the slide perfectly and was able to rack the slide back several times.So that tells me it should work just fine.The only problem I had was it doesn't come with a thread protector.You can buy one of those on amazon for $8 it's threaded as .578 x 28.
