I purchased the S&W .380 EZ Performance Center handgun (yes the gold accented one). While the extended grip safety helps you get positive engagement if you have larger hands, it has a few sharp edges that are uncomfortable. This OEM safety is smoother and much more comfortable. Would highly recommend!

I replaced the sharp metal hand grip safety on my S&W 380ez Performance Center with the stock smooth plastic model from the base model. Makes the gun more comfortable to shoot. A must do for any PC 380ez !

Took forever to get. First time I received the "product in stock email, I immediately logged on and they were out of stock again. Second time it happened I was able to place order. Order arrived quickly, product is the same as factory piece. It took 5 minutes to install and my wife is happy that the ribbed safety [performance center model] no longer cuts into her hand.

Finally an option to replace the factory one with a much better option! The fit and finish are great and I actually bought 2 so if anyone else at the range has a 380 or 9 that could use one, I'll help them out too! The best part? I didn't have to send it in and wait months for something that I can do myself in just a matter of a few minutes! Thank you MGW !!!

I am usually not a fan of grip safeties but I brought a S&W M&P 380 EZ Performance model due to weakening hand strength in both my hands. I love the gun but hated the grip safety. The performance model has an aluminum grip safety that sticks out further than the standard model and it also has very sharp edges. It was very uncomfortable to shoot. I replaced the aluminum grip safety with the standard polymer grip safety and what a difference! It changed the gun from a 5 to a 10 on the shooting scale. MGW was the only place I found it and shipping was very fast. Thank you MGW, you are fantastic!
