Description: Smith & Wesson 22A Firing Pin. This Smith & Wesson factory original firing pin is manufactured from steel and designed for the Model 22A pistols calibered in .22 LR. The firing pin is struck by the full fall of the hammer, and then after striking the primer, fires a round from the chamber. This quality component is a proudly made Smith & Wesson piece and is as good the original parts found in your Model 22A pistol.
Note: It is recommended that all Smith & Wesson parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

I bought a used 22A1 for $120, knowing it had a missing firing pin. I thought I might be buying a parts gun, but since I have all three sizes of the 22A, that was OK.
But....a search showed me MGW had a firing pin for a decent price, so I ordered it, put it in the gun...and darn it...now I have 4 functioning 22A's!
Good prices, fast shipping, what's not to like about MGW?

It fits perfectly, easy to change once you figure out how the plastic that holds the fire pin comes out of the slide. MGW shipped the part very quickly but I chose USPS for shipping so it took about 3 weeks to arrive.

The installation of the pin was simple enough. The head struck the back of every .22, and the ones that would fire, did. The shipping was reasonable, the package it came in was secure and items had no shipping damage. Thank you for giving my target pistol a second life.
