This buttstock is a high quality replacement part. Required very little fitting and matches the forearm beautifully. I would certainally recommend this stock for Ruger Coach guns.

I bought an Upland model Stoeger shotgun with a European (straight) stock but wanted the pistol grip as that is what I am used to. This is an excellent replacement stock for my Stoeger shotgun and only needed very minor fitting adjustment... The stock bolt hole was a little off but a couple of minutes with a round file got the hole to line up with the receiver. Other than that, all other contours fit perfectly. If I am in need of another of these stocks I will check here at MGW first .

Nice stock. Much better figure than the original on my gun. Needed moderate fitting, but once properly fitted, it mated well to the receiver. The finish wasn't great, merely utilitarian and the wood wasn't finely sanded, so I sanded and oil finished the stock. After that, it looked much better and really showed the figure.

High quality material. Fitment required trimming and the recess where the safety switch rests has an uneven gap. Seems to be tight and functional.

This stock is very well cut from very nice walnut. In my case, the Stoeger coach gun I installed it on is an older model. It appears Stoeger has made significant changes to the frame to strengthen it and thus the lack of fit on a much older reciever. I am well skilled so I accomplished the refit of the stock with a dremel tool coarse sand drum and the external stock-to-frame fit with a file and grit hand sand; all of which took me about thirty minutes.
