(1) Excellent replacement stock for 72-yr old turkey hunter who now can use biceps to help hoist the gun with the pistol grip (2) Stock camp pattern is different than original M3500; doesn’t bother me, cami is camp. (3) Watch YouTube and do your research before beginning replacement; Benelli-Stoeger has a tech support number for questions. (4) Relatively uncommon tools required: (a) 8-inch ratchet extender to reach nut inside stock, (b) 15mm deep well ratchet to remove nut (5) MidAmerica Gunworks included the essential hardware to complete the replacement; it’s stowed in the new stock and retrieved after you remove the butt pad on the new stock (the 2 Phillips screws on the new butt pad are extremely difficult to reach—-don’t strip them as you remove them, or you’ve got a real problem. I used the old butt pad on the pistol grip stock. (6) If you’re putting the stock on an m3000 or m3500, you DO NOT have to replace the interior bolt provided; simply use the existing bolt. (7) Definitely a DIY project, but do your research before starting. SUMMARY: Excellent pistol grip replacement

Purchased this for a Stoeger M3020. The amount of stock overhang was pretty significant. Did the same with a Benelli with far less overhang initially. No clue why companies won’t make a 20 gauge pistolgrip? Really just needed a black Steadygrip stock but apparently they sold out the same day I was notified via email. I had to pay up for this one because it was camo. The dipped coating was obviously compromised after sanding the stock contour. Ended up matte black after increasing numbers with wet sanding and grits; Went from 80 up to 220 in sandpaper grits. All parts are included...however; Stoeger’s design for their washer stack-up is interesting to say the least on how you have to install nearly half-way down the stock with a socket and extension. Takes some patience and trial/error. Don’t forget to add blue Loctite. The oval washer with the metal collar attached that comes with the stock has to used in the 3020 stack up. There is only one way that it will install correctly and the setup torques down properly...this took the majority of the time trying to figure this out. The oval is facing the receiver and the metal collar faces the stock if that makes sense; collar provides the rigid support needed for putting torque on the bolt/stock. Looks great and functions perfectly. SteadyGrip twenty is a lot of fun to shoot without being punished by recoil.
