Description: Uberti 1851 Navy, 1860 Army, 1861 Navy Wedge. This factory original wedge assembly is produced for the Uberti 1851 Navy, 1860 Army, and 1861 Navy replica black powder revolvers. The wedge inserts into the frame and retains tension to the barrel, locking it in place. This genuine assembly is perfect to use as a replacement for worn or missing components.
Note: It is recommended that all Uberti parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

Wedge for Uberti 1851 Colt Navy

The wedge works great. I removed the retaining spring on the original one for faster cylinder removal, but realized it really wasn't a necessary modification. I have seen them at a cheaper price point, but you can't negotiate a price when others are "Out of Stock", so you.....bite the bullet.
