I have an early Pietta 1858 that the bolt was worn, and wouldn't allow the cylinder to rotate at half cock. The bolt that is supposed to fit, wasn't even close to working in my revolver. Going by pictures, this one looked right, so I ordered it. Perfect fit and function, I couldn't be happier.
