Description: Glock Trigger Spring, NY 1 (Gen5, Includes Crossovers, Excludes Slimline), Black. This factory original Glock spring assembly is designed for all Gen5 and Crossover Glock pistols chambered in 9mm, 10mm, .45 ACP or .40 S&W - excluding the Slimline Series. The New York 1 spring is installed within the trigger mechanism housing to provide proper tension to the trigger bar for both draw and reset. The NY 1 spring provides about 8 pounds of pressure. The spring is made to the same high standards in material and workmanship as the parts that originally came in your Glock firearm. This part is perfect to replace your worn or damaged parts, or to have as a spare to keep your Glock in top operating condition.

Dropped this NY-1 trigger spring into my Glock 45 and off to the range. I prefer the stiffer trigger pull and more positive reset afforded by this spring. I recommend it.

Installation on Gen 5 Glocks is different then on earlier Gen models, but the spring works fine. If you need a NY 1 for your Gen pistol this is it.

Glock NY 1 Black is for Gen 5 only.

If you like your Gen 5 Glock to have a harder, but still easily manageable, trigger pull for safety, use the NY 1 Black. Reset is more positive than stock spring. The trigger take-up to the wall is also less abrupt. Just drop the spring into the trigger housing. No need to "snap". MGW did an excellent job fulfilling my order.
