Descripton: Smith & Wesson Model 66/69/686 Grip, Black Rubber. These black rubber grip set is manufactured for the Smith & Wesson K and L-Frame Model 66, 69, and 689 revolvers chambered in .357 Mag, .44 Mag, .44 Special, and .38 Special. These grips feature detailed checkering and the S&W logo. This set works great for the next workshop project or as immediate replacements. Installation hardware included.

I got this for my 686 PC 2.5" to replace the factory wood grip. I really like this grip. It has a slightly smaller profile and fits my hand well. Also, the seam really fits together well. Much better at reducing recoil with full 357 loads.

Overall a good product, but only 3 stars, would look better if logo was near the top not below screw hole, edges would have been cleaner with less burrs..

These grips fit my model 69 .44 mag pretty well, except for a small gap at the top of the backstrap. I used an exacto knife to shave off some excess rubber left from the molding process. It's still not perfevt, but way better than when I received them.

this is an oem replacement grip for the new 66-8 short barrel 357. which i traded in for the 4.25" barrel 66-8. they are both round butt except that the 4.25" model has the modified grip hat feels like it is a square butt and is longer and harder to conceal. this fits just like on the shorty and gives it better inside cocealability and a completely different feel and pointability.either way,, it is a stock grip and fits the round butt 66-8 like it came from the factory. just a dab of oil under the screw head to prevent any tearing during install works great

Got these to replace the wood grips on my 686 Plus. Feel, handing, and recoil absorption are just right. Not exactly presentation grips but awesome for target shooting, etc. A great value for what you get. Super fast shipping from MGW too.
