And as with the other Tipton deluxe rods, the 3 piece rod also has an ergonomic handle with smooth ball bearing to allow the rod to turn easily with the grooves of a rifle or pistol.
The Tipton Premium 3 Piece Cleaning Rod was designed to be the highest quality most durable multi section cleaning rod on the market. The 17-4 PH Stainless construction has extremely high yield strength and is highly resistant to taking a bend or deforming like other multi section rods. It is precision surface-ground for a perfectly smooth surface that will not scratch or mar rifle chambers or bores. The ergonomic handle has a shank through construction with two bearing sets that provide ultra-smooth rotation even under pressure. The .205" diameter is ideal for any caliber .22 or larger. Compatible with standard 8-32 tread accessory tips.
